The Come Outside! approach recognises that often, those who have the most to gain from outdoor recreation are often the hardest to reach and face multiple barriers to behaviour change. The Come Outside! programme reached recovering addicts, those facing homelessness, long-term unemployment, severe
mental health and other issues, and supported them to make positive life style changes. The programme’s delivery model was aligned to the recognised stages of behaviour change. This workshop will present the delivery model, through case studies, allowing time for group discussion, questions and the opportunity
for everyone to share their experiences of similar programmes.
