About the Event:
Are you a practitioner or policy maker in the field of outdoor recreation and want to find out what research is available or is in the pipeline? Or are you an academic who wants to understand the research needs and priorities from within the sector? CRN is exploring its future research role and is running this seminar to:
- To provide a forum for academics, policy makers and practitioners to debate and discuss a new research agenda for countryside recreation research
- To develop a shared understanding of research and evidence needs and priorities for the sector
- To identify tangible ways of achieving better join up between academics, policy makers and practitioners
Audience:
The event is aimed at both producers of research and those that use research findings to inform policy and practice. This includes:
- Countryside Recreation Network agencies
- Academics working in related fields
- Policy and decision makers
- Funders of research
